Bitwarden vault health alerts flag at-risk passwords right where users access them in the Bitwarden web app, browser extensions, and desktop applications. Once identified, Bitwarden password coaching guides them to update the password with a stronger alternative.

With vault health alerts and password coaching, users can rest easy knowing their logins are less susceptible to common attack vectors like brute force attacks and credential stuffing.  

1. View or edit a login with a weak, reused, or exposed password stored in your Bitwarden account.

2. The Bitwarden client prompts you to change the at-risk password.

3. Bitwarden redirects you to the associated change password page for that particular account.

4. Bitwarden will offer to autofill the current password and suggest a strong, unique alternative.

5. Save the new generated password and confirm the password is updated in your Bitwarden vault.

Vault health alerts and password coaching is available for all paid personal plans including Premium and Families on the Bitwarden web app, browser extension, and desktop application. No setup is required! Simply login to Bitwarden and start updating at-risk passwords.
