Show your true colors in the Bitwarden Android app

Bring your personality to the Android app with the new option for Dynamic colors, built on the Google Material You design. When turned on, the app UI will change colors to match the background image of your device. Use your own background or download the Bitwarden-designed wallpapers that emulate classic themes like Pure Black and Nord.

Tip: Be sure you’ve enabled dynamic colors in your phone settings as well as the Bitwarden app. This setting varies by manufacturer (e.g. Google phones - Material You / Dynamic color; Samsung - Color palette).

On Android, when you select a new wallpaper, you will have an option to turn on Dynamic colors (naming varies by device manufacturer) for your mobile device. Choose from a set of dynamically generated color palettes extracted from your background to be used for your device and compatible apps. In the Bitwarden app, go to Settings > Appearance > Dynamic colors, and toggle it on.

Android will allow you to apply the color to app icons, and the Bitwarden app icon will adjust accordingly, providing a uniform, appealing visual experience on your device.
