Premium Access for Families Organization Plans

A Bitwarden premium membership is a great way to add additional features to your Bitwarden user account such as TOTP code generation for two-factor authentication, file attachments, and two-step login methods such as Duo, YubiKey, and FIDO U2F security keys.

Unless you're a member of an Enterprise organization plan, you've always had to purchase a premium membership separately if you wanted access to these Bitwarden premium features on your personal Bitwarden account.

This has been challenging for families, where you may want to ensure that each member of your family can also enjoy the benefits of having a Bitwarden premium membership. Previously you would have had to make a premium membership purchase on each user account, where billing would be managed separately.

We're happy to announce that Families organization plans can now purchase an optional Premium Access Addon, which will grant premium access to all members of the organization. The addon is available while creating your Families organization, with an additional cost of $40 /year.
