Safari Browser Extension Released

One of Bitwarden's goals is to make sure that you can access your vault on every device that you use. After all, a password manager is useless if you can't actually get to your passwords when and where you need them.

Bitwarden has always had great support across many different web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave, and Tor have all been well supported through our browser extension. However, one browser has always eluded us: Apple's Safari browser. Safari uses a different extensions API than all other browsers so supporting it is somewhat difficult. Our macOS friends have been a bit disappointed and have been asking for Bitwarden to support Safari for quite some time now.

Today we're happy to announce the official release for Bitwarden on Safari!

You can install Bitwarden for Safari by visiting our main website and clicking the official installation link for Safari.

The extension is also available in the official Safari Extensions Gallery.
