# Manage multiple items easily with the new action bar

When selecting multiple items in the vault, you can quickly assign them to a collection, archive them, and more!

A new update has come to the Bitwarden web and desktop apps to make it easier to manage multiple items at once. Now, when you select an item, an action bar will appear with the available actions for those items, such as assigning to a collection, deleting, or archiving.

## Performing bulk actions quickly

Now you can easily manage multiple items at once, such as organizing items that [came from an import](https://bitwarden.com/pt-br/blog/importing-to-bitwarden-is-easy/), reassigning several items to another collection, or cleaning up the vault by [archiving older items](https://bitwarden.com/pt-br/blog/keep-your-vault-tidy-with-item-archiving/).

The available actions on the action bar will change dynamically based on what you’re selecting, such as when selecting multiple collections you will see **Edit access**. If selecting items and collections at once, only actions that can be performed on both will be shown.
