How to autofill your passwords (and other information)

Learn how to easily autofill passwords and other vault information using the browser extension and mobile apps.

Using Autofill

From the browser extension

Start by disabling your browser's ability to manage logins, then use any of the following methods to autofill:

Auto-fill cards & identities

Bitwarden browser extensions can auto-fill cards and identities to simplify online purchases, account creation, and more using the unique Tab view.

Using custom fields

Bitwarden browser extensions can auto-fill custom fields to simplify fill-in of security questions, PINS, and more using the unique Tab view.

Using linked custom fields

Linked custom fields can be used to solve issues where your browser extension can't auto-fill usernames and passwords for a particular site.

Through the Firefox Add-on

Learn how to find and install Add-ons for Firefox on Android. After installation, tap the 3 dot menu in the bottom right corner, select Add-ons -> Bitwarden and choose the corresponding vault item.
